Training activities are aimed at professional enhancement of the neuroscience community, their staff, fellows, and students, and persons with advances skills in magnetic resonance technology.  Training aimed at individuals who already possess advanced skills in MR  technology is intended to leverage the unique skills of the JHU MRI community to follow accelerated development of MRI techniques on the Center's scanner system.
Educational Events
Educational events are designed to instruct researchers and their staff in subject related to center resources. Individual and group training sessions are available, as well as support for faculty and students with sponsored training grants.
Scientific Events
A series of scientific events are scheduled through the Kirby Center for the purpose of sharing information between the neuroscience faculty, their staff and students, and the researchers with expertise in a range of fMRI related technologies.  This includes  symposia, workshops, and seminars held throughout the year, as well as weekly journal club meetings.
